Ingredients:
1 lb Chicken
breast pieces
1 big ladle
or 5 tbsp of Curd.
1 tbsp ginger
garlic paste
1 tbsp
coriander powder
½ tbsp cumin
powder
2 tbsp Chili
powder.
1/2 tsp
Turmeric powder.
Juice of 1
lemon
1 tsp Salt or
to taste.
1 tbsp Oil.
1 bell pepper
chopped into cubes
2 dry red
chilies
Method:
- Preheat oven to 400 Degree F.
- Clean and cut the chicken breast to 1 inch sizes.
- Add breast pieces into a baking tray. To this, add curd, ginger garlic paste, coriander powder, cumin powder, chili powder, turmeric powder and a juice of 1 lemon and a tbsp of oil. Mix all of them well so that the chicken is coated with the spices.
- Cover this baking tray with an aluminum foil. Put this tray into the preheated oven and let it cook for 30 – 40 min.
- When all the water is gone and the chicken is cooked all the way through, take it out of the oven. At this point we can eat it. but I jazzed it a little bit.
- Heat 1 tbsp oil in a skillet, add dry red chilies, green bell pepper and sauté it for 2 min, ads ½ tsp salt and sauté it for a min.( you can add more veggies like red bell pepper, zuchinni, snap peas and more to add more crunch)
- Add baked chicken breast pieces and sauté them for another min. Adjust the seasoning and add little more lemon for that fajitha taste.
- Enjoy this as it is or goes well with rice . The best way to enjoy it is to wrap it in a roti, tastes awesome.
- The left over can be used to make chicken puff.
